Ok, so you know your supposed to be drinking your daily recommended amount of water, right? Your also running out of excuses not to. Lack of sufficient water can cause a decrease in mental performance, aches & pains, dry sallow skin, irritability and fatigue. So why the hell aren't you drinking it?My clients have given me more lame excuses as to WHY they don't drink water;
"I don't like the taste" -Hmm, last I checked water was colorless, odorless and Ah YES, TASTELESS! This excuse is also shot down by the many companies cashing in on distributing "flavored" water for the prissy bunch. Yes, I said prissy.
"I have to work and don't have time to take bathroom breaks" -Umm, yah right! I guarantee your not a "star employee" chained to your desk all day long anyway! There's the occasional "I'll get away from my desk to go catch up on office gossip BS" or you conveniently have to bump into the saucy FedEx guy during his delivery! Your floating around your office anyway and getting paid for it so just drink your water and get paid to assist your body in running at it's optimal potential.
"I'm just BAD/LAZY and don't do it" -Well then, just continue to function at less than half speed for the rest of your life knowing it could have been better if you only consumed more water. It's really that simple.
"I don't have time" -Come on people! You don't have time? Yet, you have time to pull up to Starbucks for a fancy dehydrating beverage that takes you thirty seconds just to order when you could have just grabbed a water bottle filled with ice before you left your house. It's about MAKING TIME for what's important! I guarantee you'll SAVE $ TOO!
"It makes me pee all the time" -It's FREAKIN supposed to! Water is essential for almost ALL living things, it helps regulate your body temperature, transport hormones and nutrients throughout your entire system and flushes out toxins (your kidneys at work).
The body is 2/3 water and the body's NEED for water is second only to its need for oxygen! That alone should force you to make a mad dash to the fridge for a bottle (not a fan of tap water) and drink it until your urine is clear!
I challenge each of you (as I do with my clients) to drink between 70 and 90 ounces of water a day for two weeks and I guarantee you will look and feel better! Also, if you are a coffee, tea and soda drinker, you will have to drink an additional 8 to 10 ounces of water for EACH dehydrating beverage you consume. Shall we toast to water and better health? Hell yah!

Big ups for water! Thank you!
